Nigerian Jingles!

Hubby and I are about to hit this chinese buffet in abit (they don't know what's about to hit them) and i had this revelation! Anyone remember when commercials in naija were catchy????? I don't know how i started thinking of macleans toothpaste :)
Be successful, be important, USE MACLEANS TOOTHPASTE!!!!
Anyone interested in walking down the memory lane of naija adverts????

(seriously this is an addiction i should be heading downstairs see me still checking out blogs!)

  • lmao.. i remember the omo superblue one.. omo superblue omo... washes even brighter and it shows!!!... lol.. and then the one with omo and that plantain and fish seller.. when i roast the fish... e go stain my body!!!... lol... oh and the gold circle condom ones.. hehe... my favorite (raincoat).. hehe.. i didn't even kno what the hell they were.. i just knew it was sumthing bad!!!!... lol.. oh and remember the dettol soap or delta soap girl that was just sooo gorgeous?

  • Detergent advert (i think it was OMO) where the husband was stealing meat from the pot and it burnt him and he screamed.

    First reaction from the wife was concern. "What is it?!"

    Then accusation "so this is what you've been doing all along? You go to my pot to steal meat...."

    et tres natural!
